Out of all the schools I have attended, Del Mar College was the hardest, most rewarding, and most inspiring. I wasn’t always a particularly good student, yet I have always loved and collected good information, ideas, and techniques. And something I remember fondly is that I was the first one brave enough to get out on the dance floor and “do the twist” as Chubby Checker demanded. I had some excellent teachers (Mrs. Creighton and Joe Cain), and I worked in the library, I think for 35¢ an hour! I learned about myself at Del Mar, and those lessons and preferences that I discovered helped build the path my life has taken.
